What you'll do

As an Engineering Operation Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical and mechanical equipment within our data centers — this includes stand-by diesel generators, UPS systems, and cooling equipment. You will work closely with a diverse team of engineers to ensure that all systems are operational and meet the high standards required for AWS infrastructure.

Your role will involve conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on critical systems to ensure they are functioning optimally — you will also be tasked with responding to alarms and system alerts, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime. Collaboration with other technicians and engineers will be key as you work together to tackle challenges and improve operational efficiency.
