You have 3+ years of experience in software development, particularly in building full stack applications that deliver high-quality user experiences. Your strong problem-solving skills and understanding of computer science fundamentals enable you to tackle complex challenges effectively. You possess excellent technical design skills and are comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals. You understand the importance of quality and testability in software engineering, and you are committed to driving improvements in these areas. Your ability to think from a customer perspective allows you to contribute meaningfully to the product vision while also focusing on technical design and implementation.

Desirable

Experience with distributed systems and a passion for engineering excellence are highly valued. Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS, will give you an edge in this role. You should also have a solid understanding of performance optimization and be able to handle vast data volumes efficiently.

What you'll do

As a Full Stack Engineer on the Amazon Checkout Experience team, you will play a pivotal role in crafting solutions that enhance the shopping experience for millions of customers. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining multi-tiered, low-latency, and highly resilient distributed systems. Your work will involve collaborating closely with senior engineers to deliver high visibility and high-impact innovations across the Address & Checkout application services. You will contribute to both functional and non-functional aspects of the application, focusing on latency, performance, and overall system health. You will also engage in business investigations to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that simplify the checkout process. Your contributions will directly impact the customer experience, making it faster and more efficient.
