You have a foundational understanding of IT principles, including computer architecture and networking concepts, and are excited to apply this knowledge in a practical setting. Your problem-solving skills enable you to troubleshoot a variety of data center infrastructure issues, including hardware and networking challenges. What you'll do
As a Data Center Operation Technician, you will be the primary resolver for a range of infrastructure issues, ensuring that AWS data centers operate smoothly. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware, fiber, and networking problems, applying your knowledge of the Open Systems Interconnection Model (OSI model) to find effective solutions. You will collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of AWS services.
You will engage in hands-on work, maintaining and supporting the physical infrastructure that powers AWS. This includes monitoring systems, performing routine maintenance, and responding to incidents as they arise.
