What you'll do

As a Data Center Operation Technician, you will be the primary resolver for a range of infrastructure issues, ensuring that AWS data centers operate smoothly. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware, fiber, and networking problems, applying your knowledge of the Open Systems Interconnection Model (OSI model) to find effective solutions. You will collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of AWS services.

You will engage in hands-on work, maintaining and supporting the physical infrastructure that powers AWS. This includes monitoring systems, performing routine maintenance, and responding to incidents as they arise. Your role will also involve documenting processes and solutions to enhance operational efficiency and knowledge sharing within the team.
