You are familiar with Lean methodologies and have successfully implemented process improvements in previous roles.
What you'll do
As an Operations Manager at Amazon Logistics, you will oversee daily logistics operations at the Heathwood Delivery Station. You will manage and develop a team of Shift Managers and their associates, ensuring that packages move efficiently through our network. You will serve as a proxy for the Site Lead when required, analyzing operational forecasts and determining productivity requirements for the delivery station.
You will champion safety programs to maintain a secure environment for all associates and Delivery Service Partners. Your role will involve measuring shift performance against business metrics and developing action plans to improve operational excellence. You will optimize resource planning and oversee shift patterns managed by your direct reports, ensuring that your team is well-equipped to meet the demands of the operation.
