Amazon is hiring a Manager, Quality Services to lead a team of quality service associates in Arlington. You'll manage test execution and ensure productivity and quality targets are met. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills.

Who you are
You have experience managing teams and are skilled in overseeing quality assurance processes — you understand the importance of timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholders. You are adept at performance management and can motivate your team to meet productivity and quality targets. You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and can unblock your team when challenges arise, ensuring smooth operations.
You are familiar with manual testing processes and can engage with various stakeholders to plan and manage test execution effectively. Your ability to collect, track, and present project metrics will help you identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements. You are a strong communicator, capable of providing clear status reports and documentation to keep all parties informed.
What you'll do
As the Manager of Quality Services, you will oversee a team of approximately 10 associates, allocating tasks and managing test execution delivery based on schedules or service level agreements. You will engage with Quality Assurance teams to gather inputs on task planning and delivery schedules, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned. Your role will involve monitoring daily operations, creating execution reports, and communicating regularly with stakeholders.
You will handle escalations and perform root cause analysis to implement corrective actions when necessary. By collecting and presenting project metrics, you will track the quality of deliverables and team effectiveness, taking required corrective actions as needed. You will also identify process inefficiencies and influence stakeholders to implement improvements. Regular syncs with team members will be essential to maintain strong connections and ensure everyone is on the same page.
