Overview
Amazon is hiring a Senior Marketing Manager for the MENA Grocery team to drive customer engagement and conversion through innovative marketing strategies. You'll work on storefront marketing and in-store customer experience, leveraging skills in Google Analytics and marketing operations.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in marketing management, ideally within the grocery or e-commerce sectors — you've successfully led marketing initiatives that drive customer engagement and conversion. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to interpret data and make informed decisions that enhance marketing strategies. You thrive in entrepreneurial environments, navigating ambiguity and competing priorities with ease. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute marketing campaigns effectively.
You possess a deep understanding of both digital and physical marketing touchpoints — your experience includes managing campaigns that improve customer discovery and repeat usage. You have a high bar for creative quality and execution discipline, ensuring that all marketing materials resonate with customers and align with brand standards. Your ability to build relationships and trust with stakeholders is a key asset, enabling you to drive initiatives that have measurable impacts.
Desirable
Experience in grocery or retail marketing is a plus, as is familiarity with customer experience strategies. Knowledge of out-of-home (OOH) campaigns and digital marketing tools will enhance your effectiveness in this role. A background in data analysis and performance marketing will also be beneficial, as you will be expected to track and report on campaign performance metrics.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the customer-backward strategy for storefront and in-store marketing surfaces — defining and executing campaigns that enhance customer engagement and drive conversion rates. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that marketing initiatives align with business objectives and customer needs. Your responsibilities will include managing outbound customer communications and overseeing OOH campaigns, ensuring that all marketing efforts are cohesive and impactful.
You will analyze customer data to identify trends and insights that inform your marketing strategies — using tools like Google Analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions. Your role will require you to be hands-on in the creative process, collaborating with designers and content creators to produce high-quality marketing materials that resonate with customers.
You will also be responsible for reporting on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize future marketing efforts. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders will be crucial as you present findings and advocate for new initiatives that enhance the customer experience.
What we offer
Amazon offers a dynamic work environment where innovation and creativity are encouraged. You will have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that shape the future of grocery shopping in the MENA region. We provide competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for professional growth and development within the company. Join us in transforming the grocery experience for customers across the region.
