Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field, and you bring extensive experience in actuator design and integration. You thrive in multidisciplinary team settings and can work independently when needed. Your communication skills allow you to effectively convey complex ideas to senior management and customers, both verbally and in writing. You are familiar with DFx (Design for cost, test, manufacturing) principles, which guide your design processes. You are passionate about robotics and automation, and you are eager to contribute to innovative projects that push the boundaries of technology.

Desirable

Experience with advanced robotics systems and a strong understanding of electromechanical design principles will set you apart. Familiarity with AI and sophisticated control systems is a plus, as is a background in designing adaptable automation solutions that work safely alongside humans.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for authoring functional requirements, design verification plans, and test procedures for robotic systems. You will execute product designs that meet specified requirements and build and test electromechanical subsystem prototypes and integrated systems. Your work will support product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and on schedule. You will collaborate with world-class teams to develop revolutionary robotic systems that transform automation at Amazon's scale. Your contributions will directly impact the future of robotics and automation, making a difference in how these technologies are integrated into everyday operations.
