Who you are

You have a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and possess strong project management skills. With experience in technical project management, you are adept at uniting production teams to achieve mission success. Your knowledge of industry standards such as ASTM B31 4 and NFPA 13 sets you apart, as you understand the intricacies of building infrastructure for satellite production.

You are familiar with utility demands and can translate those into actionable plans for facility layout and function. Your ability to work with a diverse range of contractors, technicians, engineers, and architects showcases your collaborative spirit. You thrive in environments where you can optimize and manage the installation and commissioning of complex systems, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the heartbeat of the satellite production facility, developing and delivering plans that meet Amazon Leo's production goals. You will estimate and sum utility demands, translating those into building infrastructure that supports the satellite production process. Your expertise will guide the optimization and management of the installation and commissioning of the infrastructure and delivery systems.

You will collaborate closely with various teams, including production teams and Amazon leaders, to create a vision that aligns with the mission of delivering fast, reliable internet connectivity to underserved areas. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with safety and design standards, contributing to the overall success of the satellite production facility.
