You have extensive experience in mechatronics and robotics, with a strong background in maintaining and repairing automated systems. Desirable

Experience with automated packaging and distribution equipment is a plus, as is familiarity with Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems. You may also have a background in project management, which will help you oversee vendor activities and ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently. A passion for training and developing others will enhance your effectiveness in this role, as you help build a skilled team of technicians.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a team of service technicians, overseeing the installation and repair of automated systems that are critical to Amazon's operations. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of Robotics and Material Handling Equipment (MHE), ensuring that all systems operate reliably and efficiently. Your leadership will involve developing training plans for technicians, helping them grow their skills and knowledge in the field. You will also manage projects related to equipment upgrades and repairs, collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless operations.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include troubleshooting complex technical issues, conducting regular maintenance checks, and implementing improvements to enhance system reliability. You will work closely with vendors to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety standards. Your role will be pivotal in driving continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance team, contributing to the overall success of Amazon's operations.
