Who you are
You have extensive experience in mechatronics and robotics, with a strong background in maintaining and overseeing material handling equipment (MHE) and facility equipment. Your leadership skills shine as you guide service technicians and develop training plans to enhance their capabilities. You are adept at troubleshooting complex systems and designing innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Your technical expertise includes a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, allowing you to effectively manage projects and oversee vendors during planned and emergency repairs. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all equipment operates reliably and efficiently.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead a team of service technicians, providing mentorship and guidance as they install and repair automated systems. You will be responsible for developing training programs that enhance the skills of your team, ensuring they are equipped to handle the challenges of maintaining advanced robotics and MHE. Your role will also involve designing solutions for complex problems that arise in the operations environment, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
You will oversee the maintenance of critical systems, including Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational protocols. Your ability to manage projects effectively will be crucial as you coordinate with various stakeholders to implement improvements and upgrades to existing systems. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of safety and reliability within the operations team.
