Your expertise includes managing new builds, retrofits, and expansions, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget. You excel in project management, demonstrating the ability to perform detailed reviews of job budgets and schedules to identify and resolve discrepancies. Your strong communication skills allow you to effectively partner with internal customers and external stakeholders, earning their trust and fostering collaboration.
You are comfortable with regional travel, as this role requires 60% travel to various construction sites. You are adaptable and willing to relocate if necessary, ensuring that you can meet the demands of the position. Your ability to serve as a direct point of interface with developers and general contractors makes you a key player in the construction process, integrating the needs of various stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
What you'll do
As a Construction Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for the project management of building industrial developments, including new builds, retrofits, and expansions. You will oversee the implementation of facility network infrastructure, including sortation centers and delivery stations. Your role will involve detailed deep dive reviews of job budgets and schedules, identifying and resolving any discrepancies in contractor bid packages. You will act as Amazon's representative, collaborating closely with developers and general contractors to ensure that projects align with company standards and expectations.
You will partner with internal teams to coordinate the equipping, furnishing, and operation of facilities, ensuring that all aspects of construction are executed smoothly. Your responsibilities will also include managing timelines and budgets, conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, and addressing any issues that arise during the construction process. You will play a crucial role in delivering results that meet Amazon's high standards for quality and efficiency.

Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $77,400.00 - $135,400.00 USD annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) matching program.
