You are a motivated and customer-focused individual with experience in managing teams in a fast-paced environment. You have a proven track record of engaging and mentoring hourly workforce, ensuring they are motivated and productive during their shifts. You are comfortable working in variable environments and can lift up to 49 pounds, demonstrating your commitment to the physical demands of the role.
You possess strong collaboration skills, working effectively with support teams such as Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources to develop plans that meet business objectives. You are adept at managing workflows and understand the intricacies of first mile, middle mile, and last mile operations. Your ability to communicate effectively with your team and other departments is key to your success in this role.
What you'll do
As an Area Manager II at Amazon, you will lead a team of hourly associates, ensuring they are engaged and performing at their best. You will manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises, playing a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include supporting, mentoring, and motivating your team, while also collaborating with various support teams to achieve operational goals.
