What you'll do
As an Area Manager II at Amazon, you will lead a team of hourly associates, ensuring they are engaged and performing at their best during shifts. You will manage safety protocols, quality standards, and productivity metrics to meet customer delivery promises. Collaborating with support teams such as Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources, you will develop and implement plans to achieve operational goals.
You will be responsible for overseeing the workflow of the operations network, which includes the first mile, middle mile, and last mile processes. Your role will involve continuous monitoring of performance and making adjustments as necessary to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in operations. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration.
