Who you are
You are a motivated and customer-focused individual with experience in managing teams in a fast-paced environment. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and performance in operations and are committed to maintaining high standards. You have a proven track record of supporting and mentoring hourly workforce, ensuring they are engaged and productive during their shifts.
You are physically capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and can stand or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts. You thrive in environments that may vary in noise levels and temperatures, demonstrating adaptability and resilience. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources, to meet business objectives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead a team of hourly workforce, focusing on engaging and motivating them to achieve the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will manage the workflow of operations, which includes overseeing the first mile, middle mile, and last mile processes to ensure customer orders are delivered accurately and on time. You will collaborate with support teams to develop plans that align with business objectives, ensuring a seamless operation.
You will be responsible for monitoring safety and quality metrics, implementing strategies to improve performance, and addressing any issues that arise during shifts. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a positive work environment where team members feel valued and supported. You will also play a key role in maintaining customer expectations, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled to the highest standards.
