Your ability to collaborate with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources, is essential to your success in this role.
What you'll do
As an Area Manager II at Amazon, you will lead a team of hourly workers, ensuring they are engaged and motivated during their shifts. You will manage key operational metrics such as safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. Your role will involve collaborating with support teams to develop plans that meet business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
You will play a crucial role in the workflow of our operations, overseeing the first mile, middle mile, and last mile processes to ensure that customer orders are delivered accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include supporting and mentoring your team, managing performance, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
