You are comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods. You thrive in dynamic settings and can adapt to varying noise levels and temperatures. Your ability to collaborate with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources, is essential to your success in this role.
What you'll do
As an Area Manager II at Amazon, you will lead a team of hourly workers, ensuring they are engaged and performing at their best during shifts. You will manage key operational metrics, including safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. Your role will involve developing plans in collaboration with support teams to meet business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
You will play a crucial role in the workflow of our operations, overseeing the first mile, middle mile, and last mile processes to ensure customer orders are delivered accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include supporting and mentoring your team, managing performance, and fostering a culture of safety and quality.
