Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in cloud operations, with experience in defining and refining system requirements. You are skilled in developing and delivering operability-related features such as system health monitoring and diagnostics. Your expertise includes creating application and system management tools that enhance efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
You are familiar with adapting and improving operations management systems to accommodate rapid changes in technology and customer needs. Your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams ensures that you can effectively support the development of innovative cloud services. You hold or are able to attain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance, demonstrating your commitment to security and compliance in cloud operations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will define and refine system requirements to support AWS Utility Computing services. You will participate in the development and delivery of features that enhance system operability, including health monitoring and self-healing automation. Your responsibilities will include developing application and system management tools that streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.
You will work closely with the Region Services team to redefine how AWS designs and operates its cloud infrastructure. This involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that AWS services meet the needs of customers across different industries. You will also be responsible for adapting operations management systems to accommodate rapid changes in technology and customer demands.
Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and best practices, ensuring that AWS remains at the forefront of innovation in the cloud computing space.
