What you'll do
In this role, you will spend a majority of your time operating and improving one of Amazon's largest software systems. You will dive deep into understanding the root causes of customer issues, investigating metrics that are trending incorrectly, and consulting with senior engineers to implement solutions. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and innovating fixes for various systems, as well as automating manual processes to enhance operational efficiency.
You will be responsible for maintaining software updates and providing data and metrics that help manage the capacity and efficiency of AWS services. Your role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence. You will be expected to implement best practices in operational excellence and contribute to the continuous improvement of AWS infrastructure.
