Who you are
You have a proven track record in operations management, with experience leading teams and driving performance objectives. Your ability to coach and mentor others is key to building a strong leadership bench within the Fulfillment Center. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and customer experience in operations, and you are committed to fostering positive employee relations.
You are adept at implementing quality initiatives and process changes, leveraging Lean methodologies to enhance operational efficiency. Your experience includes setting clear expectations for team members and holding them accountable for their performance. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with support staff across various functions to secure resources for projects and initiatives.
What you'll do
As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the site, including budget management and team development. You will drive the creation of quality initiatives and process changes to meet and exceed business plans. Your role will involve overseeing either Inbound or Outbound operations, ensuring that safety, quality, and performance standards are upheld.
You will set and clarify requirements for Operations and Area Managers, measuring performance and providing feedback to ensure accountability. By sourcing and nurturing ideas from your team, you will create improvement plans that enhance operational effectiveness. You will also take proactive steps to share best practices across departments and shifts, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
What we offer
Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $135,000 - $182,700 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
