You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 1+ years of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques. You are exceptionally talented, bright, and driven, with a strong focus on customer-centric operations. Your analytical skills allow you to identify performance bottlenecks and implement effective solutions. You thrive in a collaborative environment, coordinating with various teams to meet operational requirements and enhance quality standards.
You possess a deep understanding of transportation processes and are skilled in leveraging Last Mile networks to ensure efficient delivery. Your experience in hiring and training teams enables you to build a highly motivated workforce that meets high standards of productivity and quality. You are committed to continuous improvement and have a track record of initiating enhancements that reduce waste and eliminate unnecessary work.
What you'll do
As an Operations Manager at Amazon, you will define and build transportation processes from fulfillment centers to customers, ensuring seamless execution. You will coordinate with Finance, Customer Service, Fulfillment Centers, and Projects teams to address matters related to Last Mile operations. Your role will involve analyzing data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve overall operational performance. You will implement formal process control and improvement mechanisms, such as Kaizen, to enhance quality standards.
You will be responsible for hiring, training, and developing a motivated workforce for Last Mile teams, working closely with HR and training teams to meet operational requirements. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that the team consistently meets high performance standards. You will play a crucial role in fostering an inclusive culture that empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for customers.
