What you'll do

As a Senior Area Manager at Amazon, you will lead the overall production and operational planning for the delivery station in Ibaraki. You will work closely with your team to forecast monthly volume and develop weekly operational plans. Your responsibilities will include managing personnel and labor resources, ensuring that the right number of staff is available to meet operational demands. You will also spearhead various improvement projects aimed at enhancing productivity and efficiency within the station. This includes evaluating and implementing new technologies and processes to streamline operations. You will be responsible for resolving operational issues as they arise, such as developing recovery plans for equipment failures to ensure smooth operations. Regular meetings with your team and other managers will be a key part of your role, where you will facilitate discussions on performance metrics and operational improvements.
