Your ability to coach and mentor Operations and Area Managers is key to fostering a culture of excellence and accountability within the Fulfillment Center. You are adept at building positive employee relations and developing leadership strength, ensuring that your team is engaged and motivated to meet operational goals.

Your strategic mindset allows you to balance operational excellence with team development, driving results across all areas of the facility. You are familiar with Lean methodologies and have successfully implemented quality improvement and process optimization initiatives in previous roles. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and customer experience in operational performance.

What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will lead the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency within your functional area. You will be responsible for the overall performance of either Inbound or Outbound operations, ensuring that safety, quality, and customer experience standards are consistently met or exceeded. You will set clear expectations for your team, measure performance, and provide constructive feedback to hold Operations Managers accountable for their departments.

You will leverage the expertise of your Operations and Area Managers by encouraging the sharing of ideas and best practices across all departments and shifts. Your proactive approach will ensure that improvement plans are created and executed effectively, contributing to the overall success of the Fulfillment Center. You will collaborate closely with support staff from HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, and IT to ensure that operational objectives align with company goals.
