What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, driving the creation of quality initiatives and process change initiatives to meet operational objectives. Your role will involve measuring performance, providing feedback, and ensuring that best practices are shared across departments and shifts. You will take proactive steps to build a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging ideas from your team to create effective improvement plans.

You will work closely with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and other Senior Operations Managers to build support for your initiatives and ensure that resources are allocated effectively. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring that all team members are engaged and motivated to achieve their goals. You will also be responsible for overseeing safety and quality standards, ensuring that the Fulfillment Center operates efficiently and effectively.
