What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, ensuring that performance objectives are met through effective coaching and mentoring. Your role will involve driving the creation of quality initiatives and process change initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. You will set and clarify requirements for your team, measure performance, and provide feedback to ensure accountability.

You will work closely with support staff from various departments, including HR, Finance, and IT, to build and secure support for projects and initiatives. Your proactive approach will ensure that best practices are shared across all departments and shifts, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for overseeing safety, quality, and performance metrics, ensuring that the Fulfillment Center meets and exceeds business plans.
