What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, driving performance and ensuring that all operational objectives are met. Your role will involve setting and clarifying requirements for your team, measuring their performance, and holding them accountable for their results. You will also collaborate closely with support staff from HR, Finance, and IT to secure resources for projects and initiatives.

You will take the lead in creating and implementing quality initiatives and process changes that enhance operational efficiency. Your focus will be on both Inbound and Outbound operations, ensuring that safety, quality, and performance standards are upheld. You will leverage your team's ideas to develop improvement plans and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Fulfillment Center. Your ability to build strong relationships with your team and other departments will be key to your success in this role.
