What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, ensuring that performance objectives are met while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your role will involve driving the creation of quality initiatives and process change initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

You will set and clarify requirements for your team, holding them accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments. By leveraging the ideas of your Operations and Area Managers, you will create improvement plans that align with the overall goals of the Fulfillment Center. You will also take proactive steps to share best practices across departments and shifts, ensuring that all teams are aligned and working towards common objectives.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and other Senior Operations Managers to build support for your initiatives. Your leadership will be instrumental in developing a strong operational team that is capable of meeting the challenges of a fast-paced fulfillment environment.
