You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with support staff across various functions to secure resources for projects and initiatives.

What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, ensuring that performance objectives are met while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your role will involve driving the creation of quality initiatives and process changes that align with the business plan.

You will set and clarify requirements for your team, measure performance, and provide feedback to ensure accountability. By leveraging the ideas and insights of your Operations and Area Managers, you will develop improvement plans that enhance operational effectiveness. You will also take proactive steps to share best practices across departments and shifts, ensuring that all teams are aligned and working towards common goals.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and other Senior Operations Managers to build support for your initiatives. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating a positive work environment that encourages employee engagement and development.
