What you'll do
As an Area Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of hourly employees within one of our fulfillment centers or operations buildings. Your primary focus will be on engaging and developing your team, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to meet operational goals. You will lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of your work.
You will conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to your team members, helping them to grow and improve in their roles. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining high levels of attendance and performance, as well as fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
In this role, you will also participate in extensive training and development programs offered by Amazon, which will help you become an exceptional people leader. You will collaborate with other managers and departments to ensure smooth operations and address any challenges that arise.
