What you'll do

As an Area Manager Intern, you will spend ten weeks learning to manage a team within one of Amazon’s fulfillment centers, sort centers, or delivery stations. Your main focus will be on developing a summer project in partnership with your site leadership while gaining hands-on experience in operations management. You will have the opportunity to coach and mentor associates, ensuring they are engaged and productive. You will also learn about the various operational processes and how to optimize them for efficiency. Throughout your internship, you will receive extensive training and support to help you grow as a leader within Amazon's operations.
