Your strong communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources.
What you'll do
As an Area Manager II at Amazon, you will lead a team of hourly workforce members, engaging them during their shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety and performance. You will manage the workflow across the first, middle, and last miles of operations, ensuring that customer orders are delivered on time and to the right location. Your responsibilities will include supporting and mentoring your team, managing safety and quality metrics, and collaborating with support teams to develop plans that meet business objectives.
You will be responsible for monitoring productivity and ensuring that your team meets customer delivery promises. This role requires you to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as lift and move packages weighing up to 49 pounds. You will work in an environment that can be loud and subject to variable temperatures, so your adaptability will be crucial.
