Job Description
Who you are
You have extensive experience in operations management, particularly in a fulfillment or logistics environment. Your leadership skills are exceptional, and you excel at coaching and mentoring teams to achieve their performance objectives. You understand the importance of building positive employee relations and fostering a strong leadership bench strength within your team.
You are adept at driving quality initiatives and process changes, utilizing Lean methodologies to enhance operational efficiency. Your focus on safety, quality, and customer experience is paramount, and you have a proven track record of setting clear expectations and holding your team accountable for their performance.
What you'll do
As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, ensuring that they meet and exceed business plans through effective coaching and performance management. You will drive the creation of quality initiatives and process change initiatives, leveraging your expertise to implement best practices across all departments.
You will work closely with support staff from HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, and IT to secure resources for projects and initiatives in your area. Your role will involve measuring performance, providing feedback, and developing improvement plans based on the ideas sourced from your team. You will take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across shifts and departments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What we offer
At Amazon, we offer a competitive salary range of $135,000.00 - $182,700.00 USD annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
