What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational functions at the Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching and mentoring them to achieve performance objectives. Your role will involve driving the creation of quality initiatives and process change initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

You will collaborate closely with support staff across various departments, including HR, Finance, and IT, to secure resources for projects and initiatives. Your proactive approach will ensure that best practices are shared across all departments and shifts, contributing to a cohesive operational strategy. You will measure performance, provide feedback, and hold your team accountable for their results, ensuring that operational goals are met consistently.
