Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in supply chain management and procurement, specifically within the data center or technology sectors. Your analytical and financial acumen allows you to make data-driven decisions that enhance operational efficiency. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to influence stakeholders at all levels, from internal teams to external suppliers. You are hands-on and passionate about diving deep into processes, ensuring that you understand the intricacies of data center operations. Your proven track record in managing large-scale supply chain projects demonstrates your ability to drive significant improvements and cost reductions. You think long-term and are adept at balancing multiple initiatives while maintaining focus on key objectives.

Desirable

Experience in cloud computing or data center operations is a plus, as is familiarity with competitive bidding and negotiation strategies. A background in developing performance metrics and accountability mechanisms for suppliers will set you apart. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a strategic focus.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for scaling off-site data center construction projects, collaborating closely with internal business partners and suppliers to drive efficiencies and reduce risks. You will develop and implement mechanisms to hold suppliers accountable for their performance and delivery, ensuring that all projects meet Amazon's high standards. Your role will involve analyzing data and market trends to inform procurement strategies, enabling you to negotiate effectively and secure the best possible outcomes for Amazon.
