Who you are

You are a strategic sourcing leader with over 5 years of program or project management experience, adept at managing IT infrastructure and hardware categories. You have a proven track record in vendor management and are skilled in driving measurable cost optimization and enhancing supply chain resilience. Your ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders and regional teams allows you to execute competitive sourcing processes effectively.

You excel in executing the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle, from market analysis through contract award. Leading RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ) is second nature to you, ensuring competitive positioning and optimal value realization. You are experienced in supporting global vendor managers with strategic business reviews, supplier onboarding, and performance negotiations, while also scrutinizing pricing structures and resolving commercial anomalies.

Your expertise in driving cost-out initiatives has delivered quantifiable savings across hardware portfolios, and you are skilled at identifying and mitigating supply chain risks. You coordinate seamlessly with Technical Program Managers across all regions to architect and leverage global sourcing strategies, ensuring contract consistency and savings optimization worldwide.

You form strategic partnerships with business leaders to define requirements and influence purchasing decisions organization-wide. Your collaborative approach with finance, legal, tax, and procurement teams ensures that you provide regular progress reporting to Senior Leadership on strategic initiatives and operational performance.

Desirable

Experience in IT infrastructure and hardware sourcing is a plus, as well as familiarity with competitive sourcing processes and supplier performance management.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the global sourcing strategy for IT infrastructure and hardware, driving vendor management and cost optimization initiatives. You will execute the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle, ensuring that all processes are competitive and aligned with Amazon's procurement operations. Your responsibilities will include leading RFx processes, supporting vendor managers, and negotiating enterprise agreements to deliver strategic value through supplier performance management.

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define sourcing requirements and influence purchasing decisions across the organization. Your role will involve coordinating with Technical Program Managers to ensure that global sourcing strategies are effectively implemented and that contract consistency is maintained.

You will also be responsible for providing regular updates to Senior Leadership on the progress of strategic initiatives and operational performance, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with the sourcing strategy.
