Who you are
You are a technical expert in commercial refrigeration systems, particularly CO2 systems, with a strong background in reliability and maintenance engineering. You have experience in driving standardization and reliability improvements across multiple facilities, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with food safety standards. Your ability to lead and collaborate with teams makes you an ideal candidate for this role.
You possess excellent problem-solving skills and a keen understanding of the operational challenges faced in refrigeration systems. You are comfortable with domestic travel, as this role requires you to provide regional technical support across North America. Your commitment to continuous improvement and technical excellence sets you apart in the field.
What you'll do
As the Regional Refrigeration Specialist, you will serve as the technical leader for commercial CO2 refrigeration systems, driving improvements and standardization across Amazon's facilities. You will work closely with the Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team to ensure that all refrigeration operations meet the highest standards of reliability and compliance. Your role will involve providing technical support, leading initiatives for World Class Maintenance, and ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and safely.
You will be instrumental in developing and implementing best practices for refrigeration operations, collaborating with various teams to enhance performance and reliability. Your expertise will guide the team in troubleshooting and resolving issues, ensuring that all refrigeration systems are maintained to the highest standards. You will also play a key role in training and mentoring team members, sharing your knowledge and experience to foster a culture of excellence in refrigeration maintenance.
