What you'll do

In this role, you will drive the implementation of data governance initiatives within Amazon's Risk and Compliance Solutions team. You will develop and articulate Amazon's data governance vision, strategy, and roadmap, defining objectives, priorities, and key performance indicators (KPIs). You will design, document, and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures, collaborating with data owners and stewards to identify data quality issues and root causes.

You will establish data quality standards, metrics, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure the integrity, quality, and security of Amazon's data assets. Your responsibilities will include ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices, while maintaining a structured approach to governance implementation. You will work closely with stakeholders to drive the success of data governance initiatives and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the organization.
