Job Description
Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience in construction management, particularly in planning and executing large-scale projects. Your background includes a strong understanding of construction engineering and project management principles, allowing you to effectively oversee the development of new facilities and the enhancement of existing ones. You are adept at analyzing various facility scenarios and implementing standardized processes to ensure efficiency and quality in construction projects.
Your expertise in AutoCAD and AWS enables you to contribute to the design and technical aspects of construction projects. You have a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating your ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
What you'll do
As a Senior Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction engineering, planning, and design for new Fulfillment Centers and expansion projects across Australia and the APAC region. You will lead the project management efforts, ensuring that all construction activities align with Amazon's operational standards and timelines. Your role will involve preparing detailed reports and facilitating engineering and design efforts on new and remodel projects.
You will also play a key role in the development and implementation of the facility network infrastructure, engaging with teams globally to share best practices and insights. Your responsibilities will include conducting site evaluations, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will be expected to travel frequently to various APAC locations, contributing to the successful execution of projects across the region.
