You are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, using advanced functions like pivot tables and VLOOKUP for data analysis and reporting. Your analytical mindset enables you to approach problem-solving rigorously, drawing conclusions from data to provide actionable insights to stakeholders and operational teams. You are comfortable managing multiple logistics centers and leading recruitment events, demonstrating your ability to handle complex projects efficiently.

What you'll do

As a Staffing Lead at Amazon, you will lead the recruitment efforts for logistics centers, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires. You will collaborate with business partners to drive operational excellence within Workforce Staffing, sharing progress on staffing initiatives and addressing any challenges that arise. Your role will involve negotiating with staffing agencies to secure necessary personnel and overseeing direct hiring processes.

You will regularly meet with operations managers to discuss staffing progress and collaborate on solutions to any issues that may arise. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing recruitment strategies, providing optimal information to teams involved in hiring plans, and leading recruitment events and candidate engagement activities.

You will analyze operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and propose corrective actions to improve performance. Engaging with business analysts, you will discuss methodologies and validations related to operational metrics, ensuring that the staffing process aligns with business needs. You will also be responsible for establishing business priorities, identifying risks, and communicating mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
