You have a strong background in recruitment and workforce planning, ideally with experience in high-volume hiring environments. You understand the importance of compliance with local labor laws and have a keen eye for identifying potential issues in labor supply. Your ability to communicate effectively with external staffing providers is crucial in ensuring that Amazon's staffing needs are met efficiently.
You are detail-oriented and proactive, always keeping the planning team informed about current labor conditions. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of compliance regarding the right to work in Japan. Your experience in managing recruitment processes will help you excel in this role.
What you'll do
As the Regional Manager for High Volume Hiring, you will take full ownership of the recruitment process for temporary hourly paid support within Amazon's transportation and logistics teams. You will work closely with external staffing providers to ensure that all staffing needs are met in a timely manner. Your responsibilities will include understanding workforce planning requirements and ensuring that the planning team is updated with the latest labor supply information.
You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with Japanese legislation related to employment and labor. This includes monitoring and addressing any concerns regarding the right to work in Japan. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the overall mission of Amazon to provide exceptional service to customers by ensuring that the right talent is in place to meet operational demands.
