You are comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and thrive in environments with ambiguity, demonstrating a high bar for performance. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills enable you to interact effectively with senior leadership and diverse stakeholders across the organization.

You have experience in hiring, developing, and retaining top talent, which is crucial for building a high-performing team. Your collaborative nature allows you to work seamlessly with various teams, ensuring that best practices are followed and implemented across finance operations. You are adept at driving quality control measures that ensure accuracy and compliance in finance operation processes, and you have a strong understanding of the operational and design effectiveness of these processes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead projects aimed at driving controllership improvements across the Finance Operations teams. You will be responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining the operational and design effectiveness of finance operations processes and controls. Your role will involve identifying gaps across end-to-end processes and partnering with teams to implement solutions that mitigate risks effectively. You will advise the Finance Operations team by assessing risks and controls, ensuring that quality control measures are in place to maintain accuracy and compliance.

You will coordinate with multiple teams within Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure that best practices are followed and implemented. Your ability to communicate insights in an easy yet impactful manner will be essential in reporting the health of services from a quality perspective. You will also be expected to drive initiatives that enhance the overall effectiveness of finance operations, contributing to Amazon's mission of being the world’s most customer-centric company.
