Who you are
You have a strong background in risk management and fraud prevention, with experience in conducting comprehensive investigations to identify business problems and their root causes. You are skilled at using data to make high-judgment decisions and take direct actions to mitigate risks effectively. Your ability to work in ambiguous environments allows you to thrive while prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to share risk insights with partner teams and collaborate effectively with product and program managers, machine learning scientists, and subject matter experts across various risk domains. Your analytical mindset helps you identify gaps and risks in current mechanisms and policies, allowing you to recommend actionable solutions.
What you'll do
As a Risk Manager on the Financial Fraud team, you will conduct deep dive investigations to derive business problems and define use cases in an ambiguous environment. You will utilize data to identify emerging patterns of risk and drive the implementation of large-scale solutions to protect customers and selling partners from bad actors. Your role will involve managing risk mitigation projects designed to improve operational and process efficiency.
You will work closely with regional stakeholders to share insights and improve detection mechanisms continuously. Your responsibilities will include prioritizing tasks effectively and ensuring that the team meets its objectives in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for driving initiatives that enhance the overall trustworthiness of the shopping experience across Amazon stores.
