Your strategic mindset allows you to define and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the startup ecosystem. You are comfortable navigating complex sales motions and have a strong ability to communicate the value of cloud services to diverse audiences. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about helping startups succeed on their journey.
Desirable
Experience working with cloud services, particularly AWS, is highly desirable. Familiarity with the Canadian startup landscape and its key players will give you an edge. You may also have a background in AI, Fintech, or other relevant sectors that are critical to the startup community. A network of contacts within the startup ecosystem can be beneficial in this role.
What you'll do
As the Senior Sales Area Leader for Canada Startups, you will own and operate the sales strategy for AWS's engagement with startups across the country. You will lead a team of account executives and sales managers, guiding them to achieve revenue targets and user adoption goals. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing sales plans that align with AWS's objectives, ensuring that your team effectively communicates the benefits of AWS to potential customers. You will also be responsible for driving the retention of existing startup customers and facilitating their migration to AWS services. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that the needs of startups are met and that they receive the support necessary to thrive on the AWS platform. You will analyze market trends and customer feedback to continuously refine your approach and improve sales performance.
