You have a strong background in product management, particularly in technical environments, with a focus on government or defense sectors. Your experience includes writing product roadmaps and creating detailed product requirements documents based on customer needs and use case prioritization. You are skilled in managing the entire product life cycle, making high-judgment trade-offs between features and speed-to-launch, and collaborating with leadership to set customer strategies. You thrive in innovative environments where you can define groundbreaking communications technology without the constraints of legacy systems.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Your analytical mindset allows you to assess product performance metrics such as throughput, latency, and system availability. You are comfortable navigating complex customer verticals and can prioritize features that align with strategic goals. You understand the importance of user feedback and data-driven decision-making in shaping product direction.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for writing and maintaining product roadmaps that align with the strategic goals of the Amazon Leo for Government team. You will create detailed product requirements documents that reflect an intimate knowledge of customer needs, ensuring that the products developed meet the specific requirements of DoD and National Security customers. You will work closely with the leadership team to set customer strategies and make informed trade-offs between features and speed-to-launch.
You will manage the entire product life cycle, from initial concept through to launch and beyond, ensuring that products are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Your role will involve analyzing product performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and innovation. You will collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure that product features are developed according to specifications and that they deliver value to customers.
