Who you are
You are a highly organized team player with excellent communication and technical skills, possessing a strong understanding of regulatory compliance schemes and processes required to specify, test, qualify, document, and maintain certifications in Machine Safety, Product Safety, Food Safety, EMC, and wireless compliance for domestic and international markets. You have experience fielding industrial machinery, with an emphasis on industrial robot systems, and are motivated to shape the future of robotics and automation at an unprecedented scale.
You have a keen ability to determine applicable regulations, standards, and safety requirements for new industrial machinery, particularly focusing on industrial robot systems. Your background allows you to ensure that Amazon products are safe, compliant, and operationally effective, contributing to the innovative environment at Amazon Industrial Robotics.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for new product support related to regulatory compliance, ensuring that all new industrial machinery meets the necessary safety and compliance standards. You will work closely with engineering teams to integrate compliance considerations into the design and development processes of advanced robotics systems. Your expertise will help guide the team in navigating complex regulatory landscapes, ensuring that all products are compliant with both domestic and international regulations.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to document compliance processes and maintain certifications, playing a crucial role in the successful launch of new robotic systems. Your contributions will directly impact the safety and effectiveness of Amazon's automation solutions, allowing them to work safely alongside humans in dynamic environments. You will also be involved in continuous improvement initiatives, helping to refine compliance strategies and processes as the technology and regulatory landscape evolves.
What we offer
Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $137,300.00 - $185,700.00 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) matching program.
