Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software development, particularly in building scalable systems and automation frameworks. Your expertise in modern programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, or Go allows you to tackle complex challenges effectively. You have a strong understanding of cloud services, especially AWS, and are familiar with distributed systems architecture. Your experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines enables you to ensure high-quality software delivery. You are skilled in API design and microservices architecture, which helps you create robust developer tools and applications. Your background in DevOps practices allows you to automate processes from firmware deployment to system validation seamlessly.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Development Engineer on the Antenna System Validation team, you will be responsible for building scalable test automation frameworks that validate complex antenna systems at scale. You will design and develop data pipelines for processing and analyzing massive datasets from RF systems, ensuring that our satellite ground infrastructure operates efficiently. Your role will involve creating developer tools and APIs that accelerate hardware bring-up and system characterization, contributing to the overall success of the Amazon Leo project. You will also develop simulation and modeling applications for 2D/3D antenna array design, which are crucial for optimizing our satellite technology. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with systems architects, hardware engineers, and firmware teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and performance of our satellite network, helping to provide fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers in underserved areas.
