Who you are

You are a motivated leader with a background in engineering, specifically in mechanical, electrical, or production engineering. You have experience in maintenance and improvement of logistics equipment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your strong customer focus drives you to maintain high standards in service delivery, and you are adept at managing teams to achieve these goals.

You possess a deep understanding of equipment maintenance and management, having worked in environments where you have implemented improvements and quality enhancements. Your technical knowledge is complemented by your ability to lead and develop teams, ensuring that your staff are well-trained and equipped to handle the challenges of the job.

You have experience in negotiating with equipment manufacturers and supervising maintenance work, ensuring that all operations adhere to safety standards and best practices. Your ability to analyze equipment performance metrics allows you to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

You are committed to fostering a culture of safety and efficiency within your team, leading by example and encouraging your team members to take ownership of their responsibilities. You understand the importance of collaboration and communication, working closely with senior technicians and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues and prevent future occurrences.

Desirable

Experience in a fast-paced logistics or fulfillment environment is a plus, as is familiarity with automated systems and equipment. You may also have certifications in maintenance management or engineering disciplines that enhance your qualifications for this role.

What you'll do

As the Site Maintenance Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and management of logistics equipment across multiple delivery stations. You will lead a team of senior technicians, ensuring that they are effectively trained and supported in their roles. Your responsibilities will include managing maintenance schedules, conducting inspections, and implementing improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to address equipment issues and develop strategies for long-term improvements.
