You have 3+ years of professional software development experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of software engineering principles and practices. You are skilled in designing and architecting software solutions, with a focus on reliability and scalability. Your experience includes working with complex systems and you enjoy tackling challenging technical problems. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with operations staff and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions. You are passionate about innovation and are eager to contribute to projects that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Desirable
Experience with supply chain or logistics software is a plus. Familiarity with high-volume, low-latency systems will help you excel in this role. You are comfortable with agile methodologies and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining core software components that orchestrate inventory movement within Amazon's fulfillment centers. You will interface with sortation and SCOT systems to support high fidelity promise and planning decisions. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of operations across 570+ fulfillment centers worldwide. You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers to innovate and implement solutions that scale with the business. You will also engage in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and improvement within the team.
