You are familiar with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda, and understand the intricacies of utility computing. Your ability to influence the evolution of technology and services is a key asset, as you will be pivotal in launching the European Sovereign Cloud in 2025.

Desirable

What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud, working closely with global AWS teams to ensure a successful rollout. You will engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their security and operational requirements. Your responsibilities will include leading operations and development teams, ensuring high availability of AWS services, and driving the evolution of AWS offerings.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders to influence the direction of AWS services and technology, ensuring that they align with customer expectations and industry standards. Your day-to-day tasks will involve monitoring service performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing automation strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

As part of the Managed Operations team, you will contribute to the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, and Productivity Apps services within AWS. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of cloud computing in Europe, making a significant impact on how AWS serves its customers.
