Your expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, and DynamoDB enables you to contribute effectively to large-scale cloud initiatives.

You possess excellent collaboration skills, allowing you to work closely with global teams and influence the evolution of AWS services. What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) in 2025, playing a pivotal role in shaping AWS's cloud offerings for EU customers. You will collaborate with technology leaders to enhance day-to-day operations, focusing on improving availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of the ESC.

You will lead operations and development teams dedicated to delivering high-availability AWS services, ensuring that the infrastructure meets the demands of EU customers. Your responsibilities will include influencing the evolution of AWS services and technology, working closely with global AWS teams to align on best practices and operational standards.

You will be tasked with building a best-in-class development engineering and operations team, fostering a culture of innovation and customer-centricity. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the success of the ESC initiative, ensuring that it meets the high standards expected by AWS customers.
