Your expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, and DynamoDB positions you well to contribute to the European Sovereign Cloud initiative. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with technology leaders to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.

You possess a deep understanding of utility computing and are passionate about delivering scalable services that meet customer needs. Your experience includes overseeing complex projects and ensuring that services are reliable and performant. You are comfortable participating in on-call rotations to resolve incidents, demonstrating your commitment to maintaining high service availability.

What you'll do

In this role, you will spearhead the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud, collaborating with global AWS teams to influence the evolution of AWS services and technology. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development and operations teams, ensuring that they are aligned with the goals of delivering high-availability AWS services exclusively for EU customers. You will contribute to the enhancement of day-to-day operations, focusing on improvements in availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency.

You will engage in strategic discussions with technology leaders, providing insights that drive operational excellence. Your role will also involve mentoring team members and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the AWS Managed Operations team. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of AWS services in Europe, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
